Pre-commitment controls
Configure Responsible-Play Limits Before the First Session
Responsible-play tools are useful only when their amount, period and activation state are understood. Deposit, loss and session limits control different risks, while an increase can have a delay that a decrease does not.
Open the Wombat account controlsChoose controls by risk
Set deposit amount and period, loss ceiling, session duration, reality-check frequency and optional cooling-off before funding. Record timezone and whether limits roll by day, week or month.
A deposit cap does not limit losses from an existing balance, and a session reminder does not end play automatically. Use overlapping controls where needed.

Verify activation
Save the submitted value, confirmation time, effective time and any increase delay. Test the account display without attempting to exceed the limit.
If the control is missing or can be bypassed through another product, stop play and report the exact route and account evidence.
Escalate when limits are insufficient
Use cooling-off or self-exclusion when ordinary limits do not provide enough protection. Keep help contacts outside the account and ask the operator to confirm affected brands and accounts.
For immediate harm concerns, contact Gambling Help Online or the relevant local service. Do not treat loyalty status or active promotions as a reason to postpone protection.
Questions players ask
Does a deposit limit cap losses?
Not necessarily; existing balance can still be wagered.
When does a limit increase apply?
Check the current account rule and any mandatory delay.
What if limits are not enough?
Use stronger cooling-off or self-exclusion and seek support.
